Kent’s 31st Birthday!

October 20, 2012

It’s my husband’s birthday tomorrow! HUSBAND! It feels great to say that πŸ™‚ and he’s turning 31.

I haven’t participated in a card challenge in a long time now, probably more than a year I would say!Β  And I’ve always liked combining challenges… so I picked MOJO263 (MOJO Monday)’s Sketch Challenge and HSSTC140‘s Technique Challenge

And here’s my card:

I love the embossed paper technique!Β  It’s super easy to add some WOW to the card πŸ™‚ and of course accessories!Β  I’ve found that I have a fondness towards buttons right now hehe….

So, we were going to have some friends over at our renovated house, but a lot of his friends are away and a couple of them are literally due to have a baby any minute!Β  So instead we went to dinner at one of our favourite French Restaurants in West Vancouver, La Regalade.Β  They have amazing roasted duck there!

We started off with the Prawn Ravioli.. mmm delicious!

Then came the Duck……

and then Dessert!!! πŸ™‚
