Christmas is approching…SSC#163 and SR#31

August 8, 2010

Christmas is slowly approaching isn’t it?  I know it’s ONLY AUGUST! lol but if you’re like me and have TONS of people to give Christmas cards to…then we need to get started!! LOL  I think this is a pretty simple Christmas card that can be given to everyone!  I found my inspiration from Stampin’ 411’s Sketch Challenge and Stampin’ Royalty’s DSP Challenge!

Here’s the Sketch from Stampin’ 411:

And Stamin’ Royalty’s Challenge is to create your own DSP!  Here’s what I came up with:

I made the “DSP” with the Trendy Trees Stamp set

and what’s a Christmas Card without some GLITTER!

some dimensionals

and another “DSP” with the Short and Sweet Stamp Set (don’t you just LOVE the Crumble Cake INk with Cherry Cobbler? 🙂  I do!!!

Materials that I used:

Stampset: Trendy Trees (pg. 110 – 113258), Short and Sweet (pg.148 – 115060)

InkPads: Cherry Cobbler (119669), Old Olive (102277), Not Quite Navy (103008) and Crumb Cake (121030)

Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler( 119685, Old Olive (100702), Not Quite Navy (101722) and Whisper White (100730)

Accessories: Very Vanilla Grossgrain Ribbon (109026), Metallic Brads (119741), Dimensionals (104430), Modern Label Punch (119849), Curly Label Punch (119851)
