Stampin’ 411 Challenge 153

May 30, 2010

Good Evening my crafting buddies 🙂  It’s time for a weekend challenge from Stampin’ 411 sketch Challenge.

I felt like I needed to make another father’s day card since it’s coming upon us faster than ever now that it’s the END of May!  Here’s my card:

I just LOVE the Fox and Friends Stamp set!  It just goes so well with the Tall Tales DSP from Stampin Up.  Now you may have noticed this card looks very familiar…. lol because I used the same paper for a thank you card last month….but i thought it was great for a ‘manly’ card too!!! 🙂

But it is different!  Because I used an owl this time!

And it’s distressed….and sponged on the boarder lol

and of COURSE the note inside is different too!

Materials I used:

Stamp Set: Fox and Friends (retired) & Kind and Caring Thoughts (09/10 Hostess Set)

Ink: Close to cocoa, old olive, real rust, chocolate chip, soft suede

Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa, DSP

Accessories: brads, twine, dimensional, big shot, big shot circles die cut, sponges, small label punch, modern label punch.

This Designer Series Paper makes a great backdrop for that cute little owl.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
