Hostess Stamps – Casing Carol Ann

March 28, 2010

One of the great things about hosting a Stampin’ Up! Event is creating fun projects!  What’s even MORE EXCITING is the FREE STUFF THAT YOU CAN GET when your workshop order totals more than $200!

One of the Hostess sets I’VE received is the Asian Artistry Stamp Set (which can be found in the 09/10 catalog on page 15) BOOK A WORKSHOP WITH ME NOW before the new catalog comes out in July and ask me how you can get THIS STAMP SET FOR FREE!

Here’s the Card that I CASED from Carol Ann. If you’re not sure what CASE-ing means I’ll explain it you 🙂

CASE = Create And Share Everything.

The crafting world is a very friendly place where you create share and inspire others with your ideas.  Not everyone starts out making AMAZING cards!  (LOL just look at my first few birthday cards….they’re not the greatest….) But by looking at other WONDERFUL paper crafters and their ART they inspire me and TEACH me how to better myself.  It’s even ok to COPY card designs!  That’s why we all list the materials that we use to create the cards that we share with everyone! 🙂  Many crafters are very flattered when you CASE their card, because that means that you’re learning from them and because their card is so BEAUTIFUL you want to make your own just like theirs!

What you DO NEED TO REMEMBER is to give credit where credit is deserved.  🙂

So here’s the Card that I cased from Carol Ann:

Materials I used:

  • stamp set: Hostess Stamp Set Asian Artistry
  • card stock: old olive, red ruby, very vanilla, close to cocoa
  • ink pad: chocolate chip, old olive
  • accessories: brads, bigshot & texturz plates kit #4, stampin pastels, daubers, wide oval punch, modern label punch, brads and dimensionals
